What we collect

Only what you type into the quote form: your name, email address, the state you live in, an optional phone number, and the details of the pilgrimage you are planning — group size, dates, hotel standard, rooming, meals, the options you want, and anything you tell us to plan around. If you write to us, we keep that correspondence.

We do not buy contact details, and we do not add you to anything you did not ask for.

What we do not do

This site runs no advertising trackers, no analytics scripts, and no third-party pixels. Nobody is following you here from another site, and nothing you do on these pages is reported to an advertising network. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Why we hold it

To prepare your quote, to answer your questions about it, and to operate your pilgrimage if you travel with us. Nothing else.

Who else sees it

Our email provider. Amazon Web Services carries our email. They process it on our behalf and do not use it for their own purposes.

Licensed tour operators in Jordan. To price your itinerary we send the travel details — dates, group size, rooming, the options you chose — to a licensed Jordanian destination management company. This is an international transfer, and it is the only way a Jordan pilgrimage can be quoted. If you travel, that operator also receives the passport details required to file the group visa manifest with the Jordanian authorities.

We do not send them anything they do not need. We do not share your details with anyone else.

Where it is held

On Microsoft Azure servers in the United States, in an encrypted database. Access is limited to Uncover Jordan staff.

How long we keep it

Indefinitely, unless you ask us to delete it. Pilgrimages are planned years ahead and groups come back, so a record from four years ago is often still the start of the next conversation. You can ask us to delete yours at any time and we will.

Your choices

Write to support@uncoverjordan.com and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. We will not ask you why, and asking will not affect anything else.

Depending on where you live you may have further rights under state law, including in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Utah and Virginia. Ask us and we will honour them.

Children

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 13. Church groups often travel with young people; where a minor is travelling, we deal with the group leader and the parent or guardian, not the child.

Changes

If we change this policy we will change the date at the top. If the change is significant we will say so on this page rather than hoping you notice.
